Toutle River

The Toutle River, located in western Washington, is home to exciting whitewater rafting with an America Outdoors outfitter!  With rapids names like Tea Kettle, Hollywood Gorge and Staircase, how can you resist this run?  The river, which runs among the shadows of Mount St. Helens, changes rapidly due to the sediment left behind after the volcanic eruption in 1980.  Depending on the time of year, rapids are generally Class IV (Difficult).
