For whitewater adventure, the river can be divided into three sections: the upper, lower and Lotis Creek.  The upper portion provides Class III (Medium) rapids, making it the perfect trip for families looking for thrills.  The lower section offers softer whitewater rapids, Class II (Easy) to Class III (Medium), making it perfect for those seeking a calm float with a little action.  And finally the Lotis Creek section offers rapids up to Class IV (Difficult), for those looking for ultimate whitewater action.
