Whitewater rafting can be enjoyed with an America Outdoors outfitter on the Eel Wild and Scenic River!
The three forks of the Eel contain a diversity of river types originating in high mountain pine forests, flowing through steep canyons and coastal redwood forests, and emptying into the Pacific in a gently sloping valley with virgin redwood stands. It is joined in the coastal plain by the designated Van Duzen that, along with the Eel, is noted for its salmon and steelhead fisheries.
